Camera Stand Frequently asked Questions
Camera Stand Frequently asked Questions:- What are camera stands?
- What are the advantages to a camera stand?
- Does it stand on the floor?
- What does the timer do?
- How do you put the camera on the stand?
We carry three kinds of camera stands: the Camera Stand, the Power Stand, and the Power Stand with an automatic timer. These stands support the camera, giving you consistently high-quality photographs.
These stands support the camera from tipping over, while providing steady, high-quality photos. The Power Stand includes power outlets at the base of the unit, allowing you to plug in other products, such as pouch laminators. An additional option is the timer, which automatically notifies you when your film has successfully developed.
No, these stands are not tripods. The dimensions are 9"L x 11"W x 8"H. The camera stands need to be placed on a table or counter top for most photo situations.
The timer tells you when your film is developed-up to four different photos at a time. At the base of the stand are four slots for holding undeveloped photos. Each slot has a light that blinks while the photos are being timed. After the time is up, the lights stop blinking, letting you know that your film is ready. You will now be able to separate the backing of the film. In order to operate the timer, the power stand must be plugged in and the switch must be in the 'on' position.
On the left side of the stand, there is a lever that adjusts the camera holder into the proper position. The stand screws into the base of the camera.
